About Connie Armerding
Connie is a wife, mother, risk taker and truth teller. She is motivated by, and built for relationships with others. Her life has been shaped by the greatest story ever told; the story from which all other stories are born. The story of God. She is passionate about communicating the transforming power of the Gospel and does so through writing, teaching and leading. Connie has over 15 years of ministry experience and has worked in public education, the non-profit sector and the local church. She currently serves on the preaching and teaching team at her local church, Alongsiders Church in Portland, OR. Through her years of leadership experience Connie has lead teams of all sizes and is furthering her growth as a leader through her graduate studies. Connie is receiving her Masters in Leadership and Evangelism from Wheaton College as part of the Propel Women cohort. Connie loves spending time with her people, which includes her best friend Taylor, whom she happens to be married to, and their four energetic children. She enjoys meeting new people, exploring new places around the PNW and learning new things.
Connie is our Joy of It Content Developer. She cares deeply about discipleship and feels called to raise up and equip leaders to step into the next place God is inviting them to serve. Connie is eager to share with others on the topics of:
